A meaningful step toward strengthening support for senior citizens in Karnataka.

Vayah Vikas has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Karnataka Government Retirees and Pensioners Association to work together in promoting the well-being, awareness, and continued engagement of senior citizens across the state.

The MoU was formally exchanged between Pavithra Reddy, COO of Vayah Vikas, and Dr. L. Byrappa, President of the Association, which represents more than five lakh retired government employees, pensioners, and their senior citizen family members.

Through this collaboration, members of the Association will have access to Vayah Vikas initiatives, including workshops, seminars, and awareness sessions focused on preventive healthcare, digital literacy, financial and legal guidance, and overall senior well-being. The partnership will also enable preventive health programs such as wellness sessions, screenings, health camps, hospital partnerships, and support for enrolment under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.

Most importantly, the collaboration aims to create opportunities for connection, learning, mentoring, and community participation so that seniors continue to remain active contributors to society.

Looking forward to this partnership creating a real shift in how we support, engage with, and celebrate the lives and contributions of our senior citizens.
